5 Techniques to Maximise Your Flight Commander Experience
You've got your Flight Commander. Now let's make sure you're getting absolutely everything out of it. These five techniques, developed with feedback from thousands of users, will transform your experience from good to mind-blowing.
1. The Temperature Play Technique
One of the most overlooked ways to enhance sensation is temperature. The Flight Commander's material responds beautifully to warming.
How to do it:
- Run warm (not hot) water through the sleeve for 2-3 minutes before use
- Alternatively, soak in warm water for 5 minutes
- For advanced users: try alternating between warm sleeve and cool lube
2. Master the Suction Control
The twist-base suction control is what sets the Flight Commander apart. Most users never fully explore its potential.
The technique:
- Start loose: Begin with the base fully open for easy entry and warm-up
- Gradually tighten: As you build, slowly twist the base to increase suction
- The pulse: Try rhythmically tightening and loosening for a pulsing sensation
- Full seal: Close completely for maximum suction on the outstroke
3. The Twist Stroke
Don't just go up and down. The internal texture of the Flight Commander is designed to be experienced from multiple angles.
How to do it:
- Add a twisting motion to your stroke
- Rotate 45-90 degrees as you move
- The texture nodes will hit different areas with each twist
- Experiment with clockwise vs counter-clockwise
4. Edge Control Method
The Flight Commander's intense texture makes it perfect for edging - building up and backing off to intensify the final release.
The technique:
- Build to about 80% using full strokes
- Back off to just the tip, using slow, shallow strokes
- Repeat 3-5 times
- When you finally let go, the texture does the rest
5. The Hands-Free Setup
Sometimes you want to lie back and let the Flight Commander do its thing. Here's how to set it up.
Options:
- Between mattress and box spring: Classic and effective
- Pillows: Stack and position for the right angle
- Dedicated mount: We offer compatible mounts for the ultimate hands-free experience
The key is finding an angle where the texture hits just right, then let your body do the moving.
Bonus: Lube Matters
Always use water-based lubricant with the Flight Commander. But not all lubes are equal:
- Thicker lubes provide more cushion and last longer
- Thinner lubes let you feel more texture
- Warming lubes add another dimension (start small to test sensitivity)
Apply generously to both yourself and inside the sleeve. Reapply as needed - there's no such thing as too much lube.
